The wrinkly party
It's not just Ming whose age (66) has been attracting attention. In the conference hall this morning, men were asked to put up their hands if they are over 65 and women over 60. According to my spy in the hall, an overwhelming majority of delegates put their hand up. The Tories are not alone in having so many, well, experienced delegates...

That is called ageism. We have it against our little children and against teenagers too...if we aren't sure let us read the report for the well being of children from the UN.
If we want democracy we have to get rid of the two boxer ring mentality!
Democracy is about being represented and the Lib Dems represent a group of society who can not be blamed for failures of the past because they have not had a chance to rpove themselves failures like the Labour Party and the Tories have.
Shame on us to be so ageist, and backwards in democratic terms!
Cheers

Indeed. Used to go every year when I was a student. Now I have a job and family.
